CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MUSICAL THEATRE I & II
This weekly performance class completes one to two musical productions throughout the academic year with an optional summer intensive musical theatre production. Students learn the "tools of the trade", from foundational vocal and acting technique, choreography, character development, and auditioning skills. Many of our older musical theatre students continue training in technical theater "work studies" learning sound and lighting equipment, stage management, costume and scenic design. All participating students are committed to their rehearsal schedules/contracts and are required to audition for Musical Theatre II.
